HOTV has both a stationary main Cardiac Lab in our Pleasanton Clinic and a Mobile Cardiac Lab that follows us to our 4 satellite clinics as well as the 8 community hospitals we cover and serve.
We perform basic assessments including anthropomorphic assessments, clinical and ambulatory blood pressure assessments and diaries, pulse oximetry, electrocardiograms (ECGs or EKGs), Echocardiograms (transthoracic and fetal), Exercise stress testing (Treadmill and Bicycle Ergometer), Metabolic Testing, Stress Echocardiograms, Holter Monitoring, Event Recording and Hybrid Holter/Event Recording.
Blood and urine tests are performed at
nearby labs. Our doctors would provide any testing requisition forms you might need for this. This includes genetic testing at centers such as
GeneDx and pharmacogenetic testing at centers such as
Mayo Clinic.
Sometimes patients need further testing include radiology, invasive and electrophysiology procedures. The doctors of HOTV have clinical and academic appointments and a very close relationship with our colleagues in radiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology and cardiac surgery at
Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital,
UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital,
Stanford, and
Children’s Hospital Oakland.
